About
Vet Support is a charitable group managed by the New Zealand Veterinary Trust (NZVT), a registered charity. The purpose of Vet Support is to provide essential support services to New Zealand’s veterinary professionals, focusing on mental health and wellbeing.
The primary purpose of Vet Support is to provide assistance for the following purposes:
- Funding for professional counselling services,
- Mentoring, training, and professional development support,
- Provision of wellbeing resources and tools for veterinarians and their teams.
VetSupport Committee
The committee will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Vet Support, ensuring its objectives are met, and making decisions about funding allocations and activities.
